Pushkaralu in Telangana follows the same window as Andhra Pradesh: 26 June 2027 to 7 July 2027. The Telangana government has begun preparations at the major ghats, especially Bhadrachalam, where the festival overlaps with regular Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Devasthanam pilgrim flow.

Telangana Government Preparations for Pushkaralu
Detailed arrangements for 2027 have not been announced. TGSRTC (Telangana State Road Transport Corporation) runs special Pushkar services as a matter of course — it did so for the Saraswati Pushkaralu at Kaleshwaram in 2026 — so extra buses from Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam and Nizamabad are expected, along with South Central Railway specials towards Bhadrachalam Road and Mancherial. None of it is scheduled yet. Medical camps, shuttle services and extra bathing platforms are standard at a Pushkaram of this size, but no locations or numbers have been published — check the TGSRTC and South Central Railway announcements nearer the dates rather than any timetable circulating now.
Infrastructure Development Plans
Telangana’s plans are still broad rather than itemised. The Chief Minister has directed officials to ready the Godavari ghats and temple facilities, and the Bhadradri Kothagudem collector has ordered flood-resistant ghat construction and renovation, along with road repairs, sanitation and lighting at Bhadrachalam. Specifics — crowd-management technology, how many drinking-water points, how much temporary accommodation — have not been published. Watch the Bhadradri Kothagudem district administration announcements as the dates approach, and treat any figure circulating before then as unofficial.
Spiritual Significance of Godavari Pushkaralu in Telangana
Bhadrachalam is associated with Lord Rama’s exile and the holy Parnasala. A snanam at Sri Rama Ghat during Pushkaralu is considered equivalent to a pilgrimage to Kashi. Kaleshwaram, with its Triveni Sangam, is one of the rare confluences in India where three rivers meet — a holy dip here on the first or last day of Pushkaralu carries doubled merit.

Bhadrachalam: Nearest airport is Vijayawada (200 km); rail to Bhadrachalam Road (Kothagudem); TGSRTC buses from Hyderabad (320 km).
